Payments

Stripe connection

The main card shows whether Stripe is connected for your current company, when it was linked, and your next step if it is not.

Connect account starts Stripe’s secure linking flow in the browser. You need an active company selected first—if the button stays inactive, choose or create your company context elsewhere in Settings.

Payment methods customers see

After Stripe is connected, open Payment methods to choose which options appear at checkout—cards, wallets, and regional methods depend on what Stripe supports for your account.

Stripe automatically presents the right payment methods to each buyer based on their country (and Stripe’s own eligibility rules), so customers in different regions may see different options at the same checkout.

Some methods are managed for you and cannot be toggled here. Others show Complete setup until Stripe’s requirements are finished.

Disconnecting

Use the disconnect control (trash icon) to remove Stripe after confirmation. New checkouts stop until you connect again.

Automated payment emails

Turn on messages such as payment confirmation (optional invoice PDF), incomplete payment reminders, abandoned cart follow-ups, and failed subscription notices.

Each row has a switch, subject line, delay where relevant (24, 48, or 72 hours), and a template picker. Editing a template opens your email editor in Pages.

Use Stats on a row to review what was sent. Rows that ask you to pick an email still need a template before automation is complete.

Affiliate earnings summaries

When you run an affiliate program (Audience → Contacts, Affiliate app on partner records), you can email partners a periodic earnings summary from here.

Turn on Affiliate earnings summary, then choose Every week or Every month. Set the subject line and edit the email template like other payment emails.

Use Stats to see what was sent. Partners must be marked as affiliates on their contact record for summaries to include them.

If checkout fails

Confirm this screen still shows Stripe as connected and that payment methods you expect are enabled. Cross-check recent orders under Products and your Stripe dashboard for declined charges or account restrictions.

Processing fees

Stripe charges its own fees on successful payments. Current pricing is published on **Stripe**’s pricing page.

Note
Okinta does not add a separate platform fee on top of Stripe’s processing fees for payments through your connected account.
