FAQ

Short answers to questions we hear often. For anything specific to your workspace, use in-app help or contact support.

Do I need an account to read this documentation?
No. The documentation is public. You need to sign in only when you open links into the Okinta app (dashboard, settings, and so on).
Where do I change my profile, company, or billing?
Open Settings from the top bar (or use the Get started link on this page). Billing and plan details live there for workspace admins.
Why can’t I see a menu item or feature?
Some areas depend on your subscription plan or your role in the workspace. Ask a workspace admin to check permissions, or contact support if you think it’s a mistake.
How do I get human help?
When you’re signed in, use the Help menu in the top bar to reach support. You can also start from the Get started section on this page.
What happens after I sign up?
You answer three quick questions (your name, business name, and what you do). Okinta creates your first workspace, then you land on the dashboard. On Today, a Getting started checklist helps you connect email, add contacts, and publish your first pages—you can skip any step you do not need.
Do I need to accept terms when I create an account?
Yes. Sign-up includes a checkbox confirming you accept Okinta’s terms. That is separate from the legal pages you publish for your own customers under Settings → Legal Pages.
How do I export my data or delete my account?
Open Settings → Account. Use Download export for a ZIP copy of your data (owners get company data; other members get personal data). Delete account schedules removal after a seven-day grace period—you can cancel before the date. See the Account section in the user guide for details.
What is the difference between deleting my account and closing a workspace?
Delete account (Settings → Account) removes your personal login. Close workspace (Settings → Company) removes one company you own while keeping your account and any other workspaces. You need more than one workspace to see close workspace.
What password rules apply?
Passwords need at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and a number. The sign-up and reset screens show a live checklist. Change your password anytime under Settings → Security.
Where are release or version notes?
The Release notes page under Versions in this documentation lists product updates each time we ship—new features, improvements, and fixes.
How do routes in the app relate to this documentation?
User guide pages map to real URLs in your workspace (for example /audience?page=contacts). Open-in-app buttons jump there when you are signed in; some links require the right role or plan.
