Log out

Log out sits on the right of the top bar after Settings (log-out icon and tooltip). Choosing it opens the logout flow instead of staying on the page you were viewing.

What happens

You briefly see a centered Logging you out state while the app ends your session. A toast reflects the outcome, then the app performs a full navigation to the sign-in experience so client state from the signed-in workspace is not left behind.

Sign-out asks authentication to revoke the session globally when the service accepts that—so other browsers or devices using the same account are signed out too, not only this app. This browser is always cleared.

When to use it

Use it on shared or public machines, when someone else will use the device, or whenever you want to be sure the workspace is closed.
